On September 22, 2025, the captain of an Ajet airline flight en route from Ankara to Baku reported an onboard alarm signal to the relevant authorities at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
The aircraft landed safely at Baku Airport at 15:55 local time, The Caspian Post reports, citing the airport.
In line with international security protocols, emergency procedures were promptly initiated. After a thorough inspection, it was confirmed that the alarm was a false signal and no security threat was present.
The safety of passengers and crew remains a top priority.
Authorities also confirmed that the incident did not disrupt operations at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, and all flights continue to operate on schedule.
