Several individuals on the international wanted list have been extradited from Russia to Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijani nationals Emil Faig oglu Kazimov, Jabbar Mammadza oglu Mammadov, Habil Huseyn oglu Aliyev, Fuad Ilgar oglu Babayev, and Kanan Ali oglu Guliyev-all accused of committing serious crimes-were apprehended in Russia after being placed on an international wanted list via Interpol, said a statement from the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan, The Caspian Post reports.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Convention on Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family, and Criminal Cases, the suspects were handed over by Russian authorities and transported to Azerbaijan under the custody of a special escort from the Ministry of Justice's Penitentiary Service.
