Azerbaijan and Russia have signed a 2026-2027 plan for consultations between their foreign ministries, marking another step in maintaining diplomatic dialogue between the two countries.
The announcement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov following talks with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in Moscow, The Caspian Post reports via Report.
Speaking after the meeting, Lavrov said the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Russia had approved the consultation plan for the next two years, outlining continued diplomatic engagement on issues of mutual interest.
