Ahead of high-level talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov visited the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier near the Kremlin walls in Moscow.

During the ceremony, Bayramov laid a wreath at the memorial, paying tribute to the fallen soldiers commemorated at one of Russia's most significant national monuments, The Caspian Post reports.

The visit preceded Bayramov's official meeting with Lavrov, where the two foreign ministers are expected to discuss Azerbaijan-Russia bilateral relations, regional developments, and other issues of mutual interest before holding a joint press conference.
