Azerbaijan's DOST Model Set for Pilot Rollout in Moldova's Social Security System

Azerbaijan's Agency for Sustainable and Operational Social Security (DOST) and Moldova's National Social Insurance House have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen cooperation and modernize social service delivery.

The agreement was signed by Farid Mammadov, Chairman of DOST, and Elena Țîbîrna, Director of Moldova's National Social Insurance House, The Caspian Post reports via Report.

Under the memorandum, the two sides will study Azerbaijan's DOST model, cooperate on delivering social services through a one-stop-shop approach, and work together to develop modern and more efficient social protection systems.

A key element of the partnership is the pilot introduction of components of the DOST model into Moldova's social security system, alongside the creation of institutional and technical support mechanisms and expanded exchange of expertise.
