In January - June 2025, Azerbaijan produced 25.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas.
6.6 bcm of gas production extracted from ACG, while 13.8 bcm from Shah Deniz. Absheron and SOCAR produced 0.8 bcm and 4 bcm gas, respectively, The Caspian Post reports, citing Azerbaijan's Energy Ministry.
During the reporting period, gas sales amounted to 12.1 bcm. 6.1 bcm of gas were sold to Europe, 4.9 bcm to Türkiye (2.9 bcm through TANAP), and 1.1 bcm to Georgia.
Since its commissioning till 1 July 2025, 660.1 million tons oil (including condensate) and 487.1 bcm of gas were extracted from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz. 609.5 million tons of oil, 236.5 bcm of gas were extracted from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, and about 50.6 million tons of condensate and 250.6 bcm of gas from Shah Deniz. From this to 1 June 2025, about 658.1 million tons of oil and 180.2 billion cubic meters of gas were exported.
