Azerbaijan's Oil Exports Surpass 2 Million Tons in January 2025

According to preliminary data for January 2025, Azerbaijan produced 2.3 million tons of oil, including condensate.

Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field accounted for 1.3 million tons, Shah Deniz produced 0.3 million tons of condensate, and Absheron contributed 0.05 million tons. SOCAR’s oil output, including condensate, totaled 0.6 million tons, according to the Ministry of Energy, The Caspian Post reports.

During the same period, oil exports, including condensate, reached nearly 2 million tons, with 1.7 million tons from the consortium, 0.25 million tons from SOCAR and 0.05 million tons from Absheron field.

Oil refining in the country for January 2025 amounted to 74.5 million tons, comprising 61.7 thousand tons (454 thousand barrels) of crude oil and 12.8 thousand tons (105 thousand barrels) of condensate.
