Azerbaijan, Türkiye Launch 5th Energy Forum in Baku

The 5th Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum has kicked off in Baku in the presence of Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and Türkiye’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar.

The forum’s agenda includes discussions on hydrocarbons and petrochemicals, energy efficiency, electricity markets, renewable energy, regulation, mining and other areas of bilateral energy cooperation, according to Report.

The sides are also expected to sign the forum’s protocol at the conclusion of the event.

The Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum was established under the countries’ Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation to further strengthen their strategic partnership in the energy sector.

The first forum was held in Baku on December 21-22, 2021. The second took place in Istanbul on October 5-6, 2022, followed by the third in Nakhchivan on September 28-29, 2023. The fourth forum was held in Izmir on September 4, 2025.
