Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and US Central Command Chief, Admiral Brad Cooper have met to discuss the strengthening of Azerbaijan-US bilateral relations and explore future cooperation in military and defense-technical fields, reaffirming their commitment to deepening strategic ties.
During the meeting, Admiral Cooper congratulated President Aliyev on the progress in advancing the peace agenda between Azerbaijan and Armenia, highlighting the efforts observed by the US president in Washington, The Caspian Post informs via local media.
President Aliyev thanked the US official and underscored the pivotal role of US President Donald Trump in facilitating the process. He noted that the agreements signed in Washington provide significant opportunities for regional development and emphasized that Azerbaijan and Armenia have already adapted to living under peaceful conditions.
The sides also discussed the strengthening of Azerbaijan-US bilateral relations and exchanged views on future cooperation in military and defense-technical fields, reaffirming their commitment to deepening strategic ties.
