Bus Accident in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Injures Over 15

A serious traffic accident involving a passenger bus occurred in Kangarli district of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, leaving more than 15 people injured.

The incident occurred on the Nakhchivan-Sadarak highway, near the village of Hok. A bus traveling the Nakhchivan-Baku route lost control, veered off the road, and overturned into a roadside ditch, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

Among the injured are the bus driver and 15 passengers, all of whom were swiftly transported to medical facilities for treatment. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations responded promptly, and an investigation into the cause of the crash is currently underway.
