KazMunayGas-Aero LLP, a subsidiary of KazMunayGas, and Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) have signed an agreement to provide aircraft refueling services at Shymkent International Airport, according to KazMunayGas.

Under the cooperation agreement, the KazMunayGas subsidiary will provide refueling of AZAL aircraft in accordance with international standards of safety, quality, and operational reliability, The Caspian Post reports, citing Report.

Starting June 16, AZAL is launching regular flights on the Shymkent-Baku route. Flights will be operated twice a week - on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Previously, KazMunayGas-Aero also signed aircraft refueling contracts at Almaty International Airport with a number of foreign air carriers, including AZAL, SpaceBee Airlines, My Freighter Airlines, and Easy Charter.
