A mine incident occurred on October 8 in Daghmashanli village of Azerbaijan’s liberated Jabrayil district, according to a joint statement by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General’s Office, and the Mine Action Agency (ANAMA).

The statement said Orkhan Ashraf oglu Gahramanov, a 2000-born resident of Jabrayil district, stepped on an anti-personnel mine while grazing animals in an area that had not yet been cleared of mines, The Caspian Post reports.

Gahramanov sustained injuries of varying severity as a result of the incident.
