A major fire has broken out at a large warehouse facility in Lokbatan settlement of Azerbaijan’s Garadagh district, prompting an extensive emergency response.

Firefighting crews and specialized equipment were immediately dispatched to the scene as firefighters worked to contain the blaze. Preliminary reports indicate that there were no casualties, The Caspian Post reports via Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Police units quickly secured the area and launched measures to ensure the safe evacuation of citizens while allowing emergency and rescue teams to operate without obstruction.

Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov was also present at the scene to oversee operations.

To accelerate firefighting efforts, helicopters from the ministry’s aviation squadron were deployed to the affected area.
