The government of Montenegro has specified the visa application procedures for citizens of Azerbaijan seeking entry into the Balkan nation.

According to Montenegro's diplomatic office in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani citizens applying for tourist or work visas must submit their applications through the VFS Global visa center, The Caspian Post reports, citing Report.

"The government of Montenegro has taken steps to ensure that all those wishing to visit or work in Montenegro can easily apply through the VFS Global platform in Azerbaijan. Information on the required documents and application procedure is available on the VFS Global Azerbaijan website," the office said.

Montenegro began requiring visas for Azerbaijani citizens in January 2026.
