A series of crashes disrupted the Formula 2 sprint race at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku, with the first incident occurring shortly after the start.

Invicta Racing’s Rafael Câmara collided with Prema Racing’s Mari Boya on the approach to Turn 2. Yellow flags were subsequently waved around the circuit, The Caspian Post reports.

Chaos erupted again toward the end of the sprint race, when several cars collided and went off the track in a multiple-car incident.

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend in Baku will conclude on September 26.
