Mutual Embassy Openings Signal Strengthening Azerbaijan–Bangladesh Relations

Bangladesh’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Georgia, and Turkmenistan (with a residence in Ankara) Amanul Haq has announced that Azerbaijan and Bangladesh are preparing to establish embassies in each other’s capitals, Baku and Dhaka.

The ambassador confirmed that the consultation phase on key areas of bilateral relations has been successfully completed, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

“We have concluded discussions on political, economic, trade, financial, diplomatic, and other issues. The negotiations involved the deputy foreign ministers of both Bangladesh and Azerbaijan,” he said.

As a result of these consultations, several agreements have been signed in the mentioned fields.

“Following this, we need to start working on the implementation of these documents. I hope these processes will be carried out soon, including the issue of mutual embassy openings in our countries,” Ambassador Haq added.
