Azerbaijan is hosting the 7th Meeting of Ministers and Senior Officials of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) responsible for media and information.
The gathering brings together key officials, including OTS Deputy Secretary-General Ömer Kocaman, Chief Executive Officer of Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ahmad Ismayilov, Kazakhstan’s Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Kanat Iskakov, Kyrgyzstan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Maksat Mamytkanov, Türkiye’s Presidential Communications Directorate representative Ferhat Pirinççi, Uzbek Presidential Administration's Media Content Production Center Director Kobuljon Akhmedov, and Foreign Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
Participants are discussing joint media projects, expanding the shared use of information resources, strengthening professional ties among media representatives, and enhancing cooperation in modern media technologies.
The meeting will also outline priority areas for member states in the upcoming period and decide the venue for the 8th OTS ministerial meeting on media and information, as well as the 13th session of the Media and Information Working Group.
The event will conclude with the adoption of a Communiqué.
