As part of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s state visit to France, the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation and the Ministry of Culture of France signed cooperation agreements. The documents were signed by the Chairperson of the Foundation, Gayane Umerova, and the Minister of Culture of France, Rachida Dati.

One of the key agreements is a declaration of cooperation between the cultural institutions of both countries. It includes the development of academic exchanges between the Alfred Cortot Music School in Paris and the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan and support for joint film projects, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.

Additionally, the parties agreed to hold the “Uzbekistan: Avant-Garde in the Desert” exhibition in France and to organize an international conference in Samarkand on museums and artificial intelligence as part of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference.
