Azerbaijan, Georgia Focus on Key Economic Priorities

Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov on Friday held a meeting with a delegation headed by his Georgian counterpart Mariam Kvrivishvili.

During the meeting, both sides highlighted the successful development of Georgian-Azerbaijani relations across all sectors, The Caspian Post reports, citing Azerbaijan's Economy Ministry.

They emphasized the favorable business and investment environment in Azerbaijan, which fosters partnership, and noted achievements in industry, construction, logistics, food production, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, ICT, and energy. The significance of cooperation for both countries and the broader region was also stressed.

Mariam Kvrivishvili shared her perspectives on prospects for expanding economic and trade cooperation, underlining the importance of joint projects.

The parties reviewed priority areas for further development of Azerbaijan-Georgia economic relations and discussed opportunities for enhanced collaboration.
