China invests $900M in Azerbaijan as bilateral trade soars

China has invested $900 million in Azerbaijan to date, while Azerbaijani investments in China have reached $300 million, according to Chinese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Lu Mei.

The announcement was made during the Azerbaijan-China (Guangdong) Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference, The Caspian Post reports, citing AZERTAC.

The ambassador also noted that bilateral trade turnover increased by 43.3 percent in 2024.
