Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Energy reported that nearly 73.3 billion cubic meters of gas have been transported to Türkiye and the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) via the Trans-Anatolian Gas Pipeline (TANAP) as of November 25, 2024.
In a post on X, the ministry also marked the five-year anniversary of the TANAP-Europe connection’s opening, The Caspian Post reports.
As the key segment of the Southern Gas Corridor, TANAP transports gas from Azerbaijan’s Shah Deniz field to Türkiye and European consumers.
The pipeline connects the Southern Gas Corridor at the Turkish-Georgian border and links to TAP at the Turkish-Greek border.
