Iran Reaffirms Commitment to Strengthening Bilateral Ties with Armenia

FM Mirzoyan underscored the importance of continued consultations between Yerevan and Tehran, particularly in light of regional developments.

Iran has reiterated its commitment to deepening and expanding its relations with Armenia across all areas of mutual interest, according to a recent phone conversation between Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and his Armenian counterpart, Ararat Mirzoyan.

In a statement shared on Araghchi's Telegram channel, the two ministers discussed various facets of bilateral cooperation, with Araghchi emphasizing Iran's readiness to strengthen ties and explore new opportunities for collaboration in sectors beneficial to both countries, The Caspian Post reports, citing Armenian media.

Mirzoyan, in turn, underscored the importance of continued consultations between Yerevan and Tehran, particularly in light of regional developments. He also extended an invitation for Araghchi to visit Armenia, signaling a strong desire to further enhance diplomatic and economic relations.

Both ministers agreed to maintain regular communication and consultations to foster closer bilateral ties and coordinate efforts on regional issues.
