Kazakhstan Calls on Nationals to Consider Leaving Ukraine

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine has issued a safety advisory for its citizens in the country due to the escalating air raids,

In a statement, the Embassy recommended that Kazakh citizens consider relocating away from areas near active conflict zones or leaving Ukraine entirely for their safety. It urged citizens to heed air alerts, seek shelter immediately, and follow official safety guidelines, The Caspian Post reports.

Kazakh citizens wishing to return home can travel overland through Poland or Moldova, before taking commercial flights to Kazakhstan. A Schengen visa is required for travel through Poland, while no visa is needed for entry into Moldova.
