Russian President Vladimir Putin said he discussed with his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev an opportunity for new routes of oil and gas supplies to other countries, The Caspian Post reports, citing Russian media.
"We also discussed the opportunities of creating new routes for our oil and gas pumping to third countries, primarily to China, including over the territory of Kazakhstan. These are very beneficial, interesting and promising routes and perspective projects," the Russian president said.
"Certainly, they will facilitate stabilization of the global economy and, certainly, in the Asia-Pacific Region in the first instance. It will also create additional opportunities for the work in the markets," Putin added.
