President Vladimir Putin arrived in Kazakhstan for a two-day state visit, where he was welcomed at the airport by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, The Caspian Post reports citing Akipress.
Putin and Tokayev will discuss prospects of bilateral strategic partnership and alliance in various areas, including upcoming chairmanship of Kazakhstan in the Collective Security Treaty organization and chairmanship of Russia in the CIS and BRICS.
On November 28, President Putin will attend the Collective Security Treaty Organization Summit.
