Tokayev: Kazakhstan-Russia Trade Turnover Reaches $27 Billion
Tokayev stressed that the total volume of Russian direct investments in Kazakhstan is approaching $25 billion.

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highlighted the growing trade relations between Russia and Kazakhstan, noting that Russia now accounts for nearly 20% of Kazakhstan's foreign trade.
Speaking via video link at the 20th Forum of Interregional Cooperation between the two countries, Tokayev revealed that trade turnover had reached $27 billion in the previous year, The Caspian Post reports, citing Russian media.
He stressed that the total volume of Russian direct investments in Kazakhstan is approaching $25 billion.
"Trade turnover is growing, last year it reached an impressive $27 bln. At the same time, Russia accounts for almost 20% of Kazakhstan's foreign trade. The total volume of Russian direct investments has approached $25 bln," Tokayev added.
According to him, 23,000 Russian and joint companies are successfully operating in Kazakhstan.
