Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov held a meeting with his Uzbek counterpart Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov on the sidelines of the Baku Energy Forum.

During the meeting, the ministers commended the continued progress in energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, The Caspian Post reports, citing the Energy Ministry.

They also welcomed the positive momentum in the supply of oil and petrochemical products and discussed prospects for further expanding cooperation in the trade of these commodities.

In addition, the parties reviewed the implementation process of the Ustyurt geological exploration project.

The ministers also exchanged views on the Central Asia-Azerbaijan Green Energy Corridor project and discussed its future development prospects.
