Azerbaijan’s average daily oil production is expected to reach 520,000 barrels per day (bpd) in 2027, according to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).
The forecast was published in the EIA’s September edition of its Short-Term Energy Outlook and remains unchanged from the agency’s August projection, The Caspian Post reports.
The EIA expects Azerbaijan’s oil production to average 530,000 bpd in the first quarter of 2027, also maintaining its previous estimate.
Production is forecast at 520,000 bpd in both the second and third quarters, in line with the August outlook.
In the fourth quarter, output is projected to decline to 510,000 bpd, with this estimate likewise unchanged.
Overall, the latest EIA outlook indicates a largely stable trajectory for Azerbaijan’s oil production in 2027, with output expected to gradually decrease toward the end of the year.
