Georgia significantly increased its re-exports of oil and petroleum products to Ukraine in the first half of 2026, with volumes rising 3.3 times compared with the same period last year.

According to data from the National Statistics Service of Georgia, the country re-exported 522.4 tons of oil and petroleum products to Ukraine during the first six months of 2026, The Caspian Post reports, citing TASS.

The value of these deliveries amounted to $614,100.

Armenia remained the largest destination for Georgia’s oil and petroleum product re-exports, receiving 14,200 tons. It was followed by Azerbaijan with 1,800 tons, Ukraine with 522.4 tons, Mongolia with 203.9 tons, Peru with 115 tons, and Romania with 63 tons.

During the same period, Georgia imported 904,200 tons of oil and petroleum products worth $811.8 million.

Russia was the largest supplier, providing 365,800 tons. Other major suppliers included Romania, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria and Belarus.
