Magnitude 4.4 Earthquake Strikes Kazakh-China Border Region

A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck China at 8:40 a.m. Astana time on Tuesday, according to the Institute of Geophysical Research of the National Nuclear Center of Kazakhstan.

According to the Kazakhstan National Data Center, the epicenter was determined to be at 42.28 degrees north latitude and 80.40 degrees east longitude, The Caspian Post reports.
