The meeting was co-chaired by Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan and Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Lasha Darsalia.

Both sides welcomed the resumption of the commissions' work and stressed the importance of the border demarcation process in further strengthening good-neighbourly relations between the two South Caucasus countries.

"The parties expressed their mutual interest in completing the process through continuous dialogue and in a constructive spirit," Armenia's Foreign Ministry said.
