Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Friday held a meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Tbilisi Zhou Qian.
The parties discussed the areas of cooperation envisaged in the 2023 Georgia-China Strategic Partnership Agreement, hailing positive dynamics in trade and economic relations, said the Government Administration, The Caspian Post reports.
The meeting emphasized the significance of the free trade agreement and visa-free travel as good opportunities for enhancing bilateral ties.
The parties also highlighted the importance of people-to-people connections as a means of fostering stronger relations.
They reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening result-oriented cooperation in various sectors.
Kobakhidze also extended his condolences to the diplomat over the earthquake in China that claimed at least 126 lives this week, and wished a swift recovery to those injured.
