Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will travel to France to attend the first International Space Summit, following an invitation from French President Emmanuel Macron.
The summit will focus on key issues including space research, science, security and defense, as well as Europe’s latest achievements in these areas, according to Sputnik Georgia.
Levan Zhorzholiani, head of the Georgian Government Administration, said the event would also highlight the importance of coordinated efforts among countries in addressing shared challenges.
Kobakhidze is traveling to France with a Georgian delegation. He is also expected to attend an official reception hosted by President Macron for the leaders participating in the summit.
