Papuashvili: Georgia-Russia Ties Conditional on Territorial Integrity

"The conditions required for normalizing relations are well known to the Russian Federation and its authorities," said Shalva Papuashvili, Speaker of the Georgian Parliament.

He named the precondition for normalizing relations between Georgia and Russia, The Caspian Post reports citing Georgian media.

"We have stated what the precondition is for restoring relations between Georgia and Russia. Of course, these relations will be restored if Georgia's territorial integrity is recognized by the Russian Federation. This is the way to normalization. Naturally, we are supporters of normalization, and the precondition for this is the recognition of Georgia's territorial integrity," Papuashvili stated.
