The IDF says it destroyed Iran's state broadcaster IRIB headquarters in a recent airstrike in Tehran.

The IDF says it destroyed the headquarters of Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB in an airstrike in Tehran a short while ago, The Caspian Post reports, citing foreign media.

The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) building had already been targeted by Israel during the June 2025 war.

Israeli Air Force fighter jets dropped dozens of bombs on the building a short while ago, destroying it, the military says.

According to the military, the “Iranian terrorist regime’s communications center” was used to “advance military activities under the guise of civilian activity and assets, in addition to the propaganda activities that emanate from the communications center.”

The IDF says that the activities at the center were carried out by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.

Ahead of the strike, the IDF issued an evacuation warning for Iranian civilians in the area.
