Azerbaijani Border Guards Detain Two Iranians Trying Illegal Entry

Azerbaijani border guards have detained two Iranian nationals attempting to enter Azerbaijan illegally.

The individuals were apprehended near the Lankaran border unit, The Caspian Post informs via the Azerbaijani State Border Service.

They were identified as Sadegh Nejat Mohammad Reza Ruhollah, 23, and Sadegh Nejat Amirhossein Ruhollah, 25, who told authorities that they had become lost in a forested area.

Following their detention and a thorough investigation, the two men were handed over to Iranian authorities.
