Kuwait’s Defence Ministry said two drones targeted operational units belonging to the Kuwait National Petroleum Company, causing limited fires at the sites.

Ministry spokesperson Colonel Saud Abdulaziz al-Otaibi confirmed that no casualties were reported following the incident, The Caspian Post reports, citing Al Jazeera.

He added that over the past 24 hours, Kuwait’s air defence systems detected 18 hostile drones entering the country’s airspace, 13 of which were successfully intercepted and destroyed.
