Iran’s nationwide internet blackout has entered its second week, with connectivity still severely limited 168 hours after authorities imposed the shutdown, according to internet monitoring group NetBlocks.
“Exactly one week ago to the hour, Iran fell into digital darkness as authorities imposed a national internet blackout,” NetBlocks announced, The Caspian Post reports, citing Iran International.
The group added that despite a draconian crackdown, Iranians continued to protest and demand liberty in the days following the shutdown.
