Iran, Kazakhstan reaffirm commitment to deepen ties in foreign ministers’ phone call

At Iran’s initiative, Kazakh Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev and his Iranian counterpart Seyyed Abbas Araghchi have had a phone talk to discuss the current state and future prospects of Kazakh-Iranian cooperation, reaffirming their shared commitment to strengthening political and economic relations.

During the call, Araghchi congratulated Kosherbayev on his recent appointment as Kazakhstan’s foreign minister and on Republic Day, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

The ministers also reviewed upcoming high-level events and agreed to maintain an active political dialogue between the two countries.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Parliament has recently approved the creation of a National Artificial Intelligence Organization, a new independent body that will coordinate and advance the country’s AI development under presidential supervision.
