A U.S.-Israeli attack struck a major bridge on a main highway in northern Iran on Thursday.
Multiple sites in the Azimieh area near Karaj were targeted, including the B1 Bridge, described as the tallest bridge in the Middle East, The Caspian Post reports, citing Anadolu Agency.
Several people were reported injured, and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.

The strike caused significant damage to the bridge, which was part of a major infrastructure project scheduled for inauguration soon.
Power outages were reported in nearby areas, with regional authorities working to restore electricity.
