The 103rd flotilla of the Iranian Navy has returned home after completing a 100-day deployment in international waters, during which it also took part in a joint naval exercise in South Africa.

The fleet docked on Friday in the 3rd Naval District at Konarak Port, located in Sistan and Baluchestan Province in southeastern Iran, The Caspian Post reports, citing Mehr.

Over the course of its mission, the flotilla sailed approximately 13,000 nautical miles.

The 103rd flotilla included the IRIS Makran, the IRIS Naqdi of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy, and the Shahid Mahdavi helicopter carrier belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy.

The mission began in early December 2025 with the objective of participating in the joint maritime exercise “Will for Peace 2026,” which was held in January at Simon’s Town Port in Cape Town, South Africa.

Upon entering Iran’s territorial waters, the flotilla was warmly received during an official welcoming ceremony in Konarak.
