Iran is preparing potential attacks on three major ports in the United Arab Emirates following a reported US strike on Kharg Island.

This is an urgent warning to residents in the Gulf country. People should immediately leave areas surrounding key ports that could become targets, The Caspian Post reports via Iranian media.

The ports of Port of Fujairah, Khalifa Port, and Jebel Ali Port were specifically mentioned in the alert.

The US military forces are present in these areas, which makes the facilities “legitimate targets.” The report warned that the ports could be struck within the coming hours.

The warning comes amid rapidly escalating tensions in the Gulf following the reported attack on Kharg Island - one of Iran’s most critical oil export terminals - raising fears of a wider regional confrontation that could threaten key shipping and energy routes.
