Iran’s non-oil exports to Turkmenistan saw significant growth in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21 to July 22, 2025), increasing by 29.4 per cent in value and 17.1 per cent in volume compared to the same period last year (March 20 to July 21, 2024).
During this period, Iran exported approximately 519,000 tons of non-oil goods to Turkmenistan, valued at around $194 million, up from roughly 443,000 tons worth nearly $150 million over the same timeframe in 2024, The Caspian Post informs via Turkmen media.
The export portfolio included a diverse range of products, such as agricultural and food items, industrial goods, electric transformers, water purification systems, petrochemicals, and various other commodities.
Total non-oil trade between Iran and Turkmenistan reached $196 million and 521,000 tons, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 26 per cent in value and 16.4 per cent in volume over the same four-month period.
