Authorities in Dubai reported a minor incident in the city’s financial center after air defenses intercepted a drone launched from Iran.

The drone targeted the Dubai International Financial Centre, one of the region’s main financial hubs. Officials in the United Arab Emirates said the aerial target was successfully intercepted by air defense systems, The Caspian Post reports via Iranian media.

Authorities stated that falling debris from the intercepted object caused minor damage to the facade of a building in the city center. No injuries were reported, and the situation was quickly brought under control.
