According to Israel's emergency response service, at least one person was killed in central Israel during an Iranian ballistic missile attack on Monday morning.

Magen David Adom (MDA) said they were also treating two men in serious condition as a result of the attack, which struck several locations at once, The Caspian Post reports, citing foreign media.

The multiple impact sites were the result of a cluster munition, according to Israel’s Fire and Rescue Authority.

“One of the scenes in central Israel was at a construction site. It was a difficult scene,” said MDA paramedic Liz Goral. “The two casualties were lying unconscious and suffering from severe shrapnel injuries to their bodies. After performing resuscitation efforts, we had to pronounce the death of a man.”

This is the eleventh person killed so far in Israel from Iranian ballistic missile attacks.
