The IRGC Ground Forces have conducted a major drill in southern Iran, testing new technology and layered firepower to enhance the security of the country's southern shores.

The combined IRGC ground force exercise was conducted in the southern regions of the country and the Persian Gulf islands, with the IRGC Madinah Munawwarah Base playing a central role, The Caspian Post reports, citing Iranian media.

The execution of controlled fire based on the range of new weapons and combined tactics using modern technologies in different layers was among the characteristics of this combined IRGC Ground Force exercise.
