Tehran Says Hormuz Matter Is No Longer Debatable

Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref stated that the country’s “right to the Strait of Hormuz is established, and the matter is closed,” rejecting any further discussion on the issue, The Caspian Post reports, citing Al Jazeera.

Aref said Iran’s plans “were tailored to the sanctions and pressures of our enemies, but now we must plan for the security and wellbeing of our country and the region.”
