U.S. President Donald Trump said the ongoing military campaign against Iran may continue for up to four weeks, signaling that operations could stretch on despite mounting global concern.

“It’s always been a four-week process. We figured it will be four weeks or so,” Trump said, The Caspian Post reports via Turkish media.

“It’ll Take Four Weeks - Or Less”

“As strong as it is, it’s a big country, it’ll take four weeks - or less,” he added, emphasizing both the scale of the operation and Iran’s geographic size.

The remarks come as tensions remain high following large-scale strikes and retaliatory threats across the region.

Door to Talks Still Open?

Trump also indicated he remains open to further discussions with Iranian officials but stopped short of confirming whether negotiations are imminent.

“I don’t know. They want to talk, but I said, ‘You should have talked last week, not this week’,” he said.
