President Donald Trump said US forces have carried out strikes on more than 13,000 targets across Iran during the ongoing conflict, The Caspian Post reports, citing Al Jazeera.

Speaking about the scale of operations, he noted that over the past 37 days, the US military has conducted more than 10,000 combat flights over Iran, describing the level of activity as unprecedented.

Trump also confirmed that a US F-15 fighter jet shot down in Iran last week was the first manned aircraft lost to enemy action since the start of the operation.
