Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed decrees approving three agreements between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
The president also approved one memorandum between the two countries, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
The approved documents, originally signed on October 21, 2025, in Astana, include:
Cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan
Industrial property protection collaboration between the two governments
Strategic partnership in the energy sector between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan
Memorandum of Understanding on statistical cooperation between Azerbaijan’s State Statistics Committee and Kazakhstan’s Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms
These agreements aim to strengthen bilateral ties across law enforcement, energy, intellectual property, and statistical collaboration.
